My name is Panagiotis Lafkaridis, I am a composer and producer from Greece, based in UK. I come from an electronic music background but my main love is for classical and film music. I create music that means to contain a plethora of emotional expression; in the sounds, in the contrast between loud and soft, in the structure, etc.
The tools I use to bring out that expression are two: The Orchestra, and the electronic sounds modern technology offers.

The orchestra has a great history and legacy of human expression embedded in its sound, its expressive potential is enormous, which is why love it so much.

The electronic sounds of synthesizers, have no less expressive potential, as so many of my favorite composers have demonstrated, at times it has more, and it’s the composer’s responsibility to know which tool is suited best, for maximum emotion.
